Pros, cons and advice about of my solo trip to dubai.
Happy new year everyone! 2021 is among us and I hope this year is amazing. I decided to write about the 30 things I’ve learnt over the last decade, instead of what I learnt in 2020 because this is more interesting. Lessons for myself Show up as your higher self daily, if you want your life to change:Old habits are like old keys, they only open old doors. You can’t start a new life with your old ways. If you do not want to find a solution to your problem, then stop complaining about it: There’s no point complaining about a problem if […]
Love of my life. A few months ago, I came to the realization that I’m the love of my life. Sounds weird and a bit narcissistic, but hear me out. Fairytales Whilst writing my Life after Graduation post, I remembered how we’re expected to find the love of our lives in uni, just like the movies and have a romance like the Notebook, High School Musical or like Awkward before Jenna cheated on Matty Mckibben and then you live happily ever after. It’s making the conscious decision to commit to being the best possible person I can be, saying […]
To escape the cold British weather, I took my second solo trip to Seville, I spent 3 nights in the sunny Andalusian city and I can’t wait to return. Seville is a sunny historical city, littered with many Catholic monuments, exquisite Moorish architecture and orange trees. It’s also the hottest city in Europe, hence why I went there in the middle of January. This solo trip was different to Copenhagen because I was so excited to be away from home. I wasn’t scared at all and I didn’t get the urge to cancel it last minute. This holiday was all […]
To kick off finding peace in solitude, I completed my first solo trip to Copenhagen! I’ve been wanting to go on a solo trip for ages, but I kept pushing it back due to the fear of the unknown and the dangers found when venturing into a new territory. My fears were justifiable at first but not justifiable enough for me to keep holding myself back. I had some discouragement from booking it from my parents and friends but I didn’t listen in the end because I wanted to use 2018 to step out of my comfort zone because life […]
